Forklift Solid Tyres

Like any vehicle, the quality of a tyre is vital to the safety of the driver and its occupants, and in the case of a forklift truck, the materials it is transporting. We believe in only supplying top-quality, solid and tyres sourced from the best tyre manufacturers in the world. Our tyres have the following benefits over our competitors’ tyres.

  • Lower cost per hour. Cost per hour is calculated by dividing the cost of the tyre in Rands, by the lifespan of the tyre in hours.
  • Less rolling resistance. This is the force resisting motion of a tyre, otherwise known as friction. Less friction means less energy used, which saves on fuel costs and less heat generation, which results in less chance of a heat caused separation.
  • Better comfort and less maintenance. All our solid tyres are three stage tyres. A forklift truck does not a have a suspension which consists of springs and shock absorbers, but relies solely on the tyre to provide the absorption of shock when driving over imperfect surfaces. All our tyres are three-stage tyres which consist of a centre cushion core which absorbs shock and dissipates heat at the same time.
  • Longer lifespan. All our solid tyres have excellent longevity and we are confident to compete against other brands currently in the market.
  • Greater tread depth. Our solid tyres have deep tread patterns to ensure that they do not need to be regrooved later to provide grip, thus saving the customer money.
  • Less chipping and chunking. The tread compounds of our solid tyres have withstood the abuse of tough conditions, particularly in brick fields where other tyres failed to perform.
  • Good stability with maximum safety. All our tyres have wire reinforced base compounds for secure fitment to any wheel rim. The centre cushion compound also dissipates heat to prevent tyres from bursting.

Pneumatic Tyres

We believe in offering only the highest ply rated pneumatic tyres, and we are also an authorised Michelin industrial tyre reseller. The Michelin XZM pneumatic tyre offers excellent ride comfort and a superior lifespan.

Wheel Rims

Our wheel rims are fully imported and are manufactured using the highest quality material and is of OEM quality. We provide blank and drilled rims according to the forklift specification as well. We also provide lock rings to secure the tyre to the rim.

Forklift Fork Extensions

Our fork extensions are of the highest quality and is made from 5 mm thick steel and is painted. Our standard length is 2000 mm for Class 2A and Class 3A.

New Products

  • Anair and Anair Plus
    – Solid, rubber tyres.
  • Sumosol Extreme

Non-marking Solid Tyres

All our non-marking tyres are true clean tyres, as they do not possess any carbon black, unlike some grey tyres on the market today. Carbon black is a poisonous substance and is not to be used in the food industry. It has been proven that our non-marking compound not only leaves no black marks on the floor, but also matches the lifespan of traditional black tyres in the same working environment.

Forklift Forks

Our forklift forks and forklift fork extensions are of the highest OEM quality. We provide all size forks for Class 2A 1.0 ton to Class 4A 7.0 ton forklift. The rating of fork must be equal to, or higher than, the rated lift capacity of the fork truck. Fitting of forks with a lower rating could lead to failure, resulting in injury or death. All our forks are rated with clear markings on them. The rating is for an individual fork and should be doubled to provide a total safe working load.

Our standard class 2 100 x 40 x 1070 mm is rated and marked at 1250 kg @ 500mm load centre. Combined capacity for the pair is 2500 kg @500 mm load centre.

Available in a range of capacities and lengths, the forks have a high tensile steel construction.

Key features of the fork arms:

  • Tough 40 Cr high tensile strength steel construction
  • Good elasticity to avoid easy cracking on overloading
  • Standard ITA carriage hooks
